I'd forgotten about this, which is odd, considering my Leslie Ann Warren fetish (caused by seeing her "Cinderella" at an impressionable age). Netflix, here I come!
Yeah, and thanks for giving away the ending(s)! Hey, the hot chick in "The Crying Game" is a dude. So there! (Strangely, I didn't mind...but couldn't he do better than Forest Whitaker?)
The endings are irrelevant really, and you could easily have avoided them as it made it clear in the article they were there. DUH! Your fault you read them.
Funny as hell movie. Hopefully if they're doing a remake, the original will get a better DVD release as it's fairly crap.
Several notable idiots, in particular Kevin Smith, hate the film. Which is a big part of why I'm going off old Silent Bob. (That and his increasingly "phone it in" level of commitment to things.)
I've lost count of how many times I've seen this movie since it came out (when I was 8), but it is literally over 100 times. I recently watched it and I still love it dearly. If they do a remake they should get Parker Posey to play Mrs. White
I was going to say something similar to GQ - I remember seeing the movie with all three endings included in it. I know I didn't see it in the theater (as far as I remember), but I do know my grandparents had a VHS copy, and I watched it on TV several times, and each ending was shown. The first one was shown and then a caption read something like, "That's how it could have happened.." and then showed the next one and then the captions said, "But this is how it really happened," indicating the last one was the true ending. I never knew that they showed the three different endings at the theater. That's pretty neat!
That's a great marketing strategy to show only one ending in the theater at a time so that moviegoers might make the trip back for a second and third time. Let's hope they don't do that with the remake with the crazy ticket and concession stand prices!
One of my favorite movies as a kid, and still great. Tim Curry is hilarious!
Another bit of trivia: there was a mistake! In the third ending, Yvette was killed by Mrs. White. Not possible, seeing as Mrs. White was screaming in a room upstairs whenever Yvette sneaks downstairs.
Another mistake! When Mr. Boddy first turned out the lights, the room was submerged into blackness. Yet, the fire blazing in the corner would have provided enough light for everyone to see what was going on.
I absolutely love this movie. I don't think that any remake will live up to this... I love when wadsworth is going through what happened and he pretends to be mr. Green. "I had to stop her screamin (as he pushes up his invisible glasses)" LOVE IT

Magic: the Gathering isn't a board game.
other than that neat article!
"I butle, sir."
Line slays me every time.
"Ok, that's how it could have happened, but how about this?"

Just watched it this past weekend. LOVE IT. Everyone at the top of their comedic game.
Little known fact about this movie: it's the cause of my thing for maids
Mr. Green says "I didn't do it!" like eight times
Mrs. Peacock is so funny in this movie. Remember:
Peacock: Go away!
Chief: But your souls are in danger!
Peacock: Our lives are in danger, you beatnik!
Just... flames... flames... on the side of my face...
