The Lowest Winning Mario Score Ever

When I was a youngster, I was really bad at gaming. On occasion, I got so frustrated that I would just try to kill my character as fast as possible or in the most original way possible. That's why I was so impressed with this new record for lowest score achieved through the entire Mario game. It takes bad playing to a whole new level.

There was this target shooting video game. When your time was up, if you got a low score an mouse would come on the screen and do some kind of dance to humiliate you. However you could shoot the mouse and it would die in the most melodramatic way possible.

It's amazing how he goes the whole game collecting fewer points than most players do in the first few seconds.

Here's the full breakdown of the 600 points he does collect:

1-1: flagpole, 100
4-1: flagpole, 100
8-1: Goomba has to be stomped at one point in order to avoid collecting two coins, 100. Flagpole, 100.
8-2: flagpole, 100
8-3: flagpole, 100

Total: 600, only 100 of which can be considered "voluntary" in any way.
