Manly Cupcakes For Manly Men

Former lawyer David Arrick opened his own bakery to correct the culinary misperception that cupcakes are too effeminate for men.

"That's how Butch Bakery was born, I thought they are all very feminine and pink and a lot of them are frilly with jelly beans and sprinkles, and I thought I wanted to do something very different, and I decided to something with a masculine bent to it and that's how I came up with the idea," he explained.

Butch Bakery markets itself as making "manly cupcakes for manly men," but the former lawyer said they would appeal to anybody who had a taste for something new.

Ironically, most of his customers are women: http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Strange-News/Butch-Baker-New-York-Bakery-Makes-Beer-Filled-Cupcakes-For-Manly-Men/Article/201007315666620?lpos=Strange_News_Second_Home_Page_Feature_Teaser_Region_0&lid=ARTICLE_15666620_Butch_Baker%3A_New_York_Bakery_Makes_Beer-Filled_Cupcakes_For_Manly_Men | Butch Bakery website

This guy is a genius, he is laughing all the way to his bank while some have nothing better to do but being idiotic about his business and marketing tactics, I want him to design my business plan, then we will have a Moet cupcake to celebrate. ;-)

Ah, I was blissfully unaware of the emasculating reputation of cupcakes. Oh well, bring on the ridicule. I want my chocolate cakey goodness with the butter cream frosting.
Covering them with a "chocolate disk", however, should be considered heresy.
