You May Be a Liberal/Conservative If ...

Here goes: "Neatorama isn't a political blog ..." so thank goodness that this article by Kiera Butler in Mother Jones pokes fun at both liberals and conservatives:

You may be a liberal if...you're in the mood for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie-Dough Cheesecake. Liberals' chain eateries of choice are the Cheesecake Factory, Panera Bread, and Starbucks, while conservatives dine at Hardee's and Fuddruckers.

You may be a conservative if...you're happy with tap water. Domino's Pizza claims Republican customers are less likely to order beverages.

You may be a liberal if...you're too lazy to walk to the pizza place. The Domino's survey found that Democrats rely on delivery more than Republicans.

Mother Jones trying to be fair? Hah. This article was fairly balanced, but it's "smart, fearless journalism" is ridiculously biased.

Love the comments on their page:
"we liberals really do think differently from the Cons, Neocons and the Theocons. If we do not stop them they will persecute and punish us, just as they are now killing Iraqis for their oil."

Jesus, and this is why anti psychotics were invented.

I have more liberal tendencies but wait for the walk sign at pedestrian crosswalks. It's not so much a political leaning but more of a I-don't-want-to-get-fined leaning. One of my old bosses told me the police had once fined him $75 for not crossing at a crosswalk. Harsh.

I would've thought parents with daughters are more conservative than parents of sons. Perhaps I just live in oppositeville...
