Once someone asked me how to use a stapler... I'm still baffled (and I can't pretend I was polite asking back in a very sarcastic tone: "Are you saying you honestly don't know how to use a stapler?').
I have to strongly disagree with this article. Early drafts do not count... In an early draft Luke Skywalker was going to be Lucia Skywalker, so, what I'm saying is things change (and quite a lot) between drafts.
Well... The very first thing on every episode is a disclamer stating that "This television series is INSPIRED by true events. Some of the characters, names, businesses, incidents and certain locations and events HAVE BEEN FICTIONALIZED FOR DRAMATIZATION PURPOSES". I mean, it never states it is a documentary or anything...
"There hasn't been anything like this"... Probably because it is really dumb and potentially harmful (you know, since it is actually a bomb and all)? But hey, maybe if it all goes hayware Patterson will also be the first author to literally blow a readers brains with his book.
Frank Quitely made a great explanation out of this. It's a fantastic study on how Superman changes his posture, facial expresion and a whole lot more than just the glasses.
