I have 3 pet rabbits. One is either a Californian or a Himalayan, who can tell ? he's a big boy though. The second is a born in the wild, wild rabbit, who I reared since he was about 5 days old (the neighbour's kids in their stupidity raided the nest and brought him home and then their mother made them get shot of it, so they asked me to take him. He's 8 months old now and is sitting on the front porch avoiding the rain. The third bunny is a bitza, she came from the SPCA and she is the one that gives the lie to the saying that bunnies are innocent and helpless ... let one of my cats cross her path and she is on them, she is faster than they and she has those two sharp front teeth and claws honed to a knife edge ! You should see my tee shirt, little rips down the front, and she LIKES me ! Lol (do people still say that ?) my cats tend to walk around the top of the fence, have a look to see where she is, then if its clear they jump down and run for the house and sanctuary ! Ferocious wee beastie indeed.
I remember seeing it on TV and loving it. But back then, I was a junior in high school and what passed for irreverent comedy was in. I've had fond recollections for this movie. Watching it in its entirety for the first time since 1972 was a real eye opener. It really was a pretty lame TV movie. John Astin and Dick Shawn always a treat to watch. However, the rest of the cast seemed to be there only because they used to be famous (Rooney & Berle) or were trendy (Gibson & DeLuise). There were some funny moments, however, Evil Roy Slade is nowhere near as funny as I remembered it.
