A friend of mine (LoveMeOrnamentals over on etsy) is currently making me a Deadpool pony using MLP Blanks (They're solid white ponies with white hair designed for just this purpose). We've determined that the proper name for a Deadpool MLP is My Little Pooly.
The second is merely a less intuitive version of the first. The questions posed in the second are basically Ask a question, Hypothesis, and Analysis. The "Build or Change a Model" section is Research, Experiment, & analysis all rolled into one.
The Scientific Method isn't flawed. The Eureka Moments like penicillin just mean that the steps can occur in different orders. You can discover something during an experiment that you didn't realize you'd set up. You still need to research why, analyze your data, etc.
Allain's arrows may as well be replaced with a sign that reads "Meanwhile, in a lab in another part of town..."
(And the fact that he's from Louisiana and one of the questions is "I wonder if..." makes me think the one labelled "Hey y'all! Watch this!" is missing. I'm from the south, I can make these jokes. And I give you permission as well.)
I guess one of the things simplifying this problem is the fact that if you're so much of a Scrooge that being thanked is a waste of your valuable time, the likelihood you've done something worthy of being thanked for is slim.
He left off Mayberry, NC, the setting of The Andy Griffith Show. That's a setting (though fictional) that is so well known that any small town in middle-of-nowhere America is called Mayberry. (Or Mayberry, BFE... just depends on how far out it is.)
He's also got Shelby, NC (Eastbound & Down) over the Charlotte area, rather than further to the west where Shelby actually is.
As a Robert, this is 100% Correct. I started my "Robert" period early as my dad is both Rob & Robbie (hoarding all the COOL names!) and my grandfather was Bob. My niece calls me Bobbobbob though.
I have pens in my shop that are official Beatles releases, authorized by the living members & the estates of the deceased members. All the text provided by the designers uses either "The Beatles" with "the" capitalized or refers to the band without their definite article.
So "The Beatles were an iconic band" and "The pens are authorized, limited edition Beatles memorabilia."
Basically, it skirts the issue entirely, but leans toward capitalizing "The" when used.
It's probably a misspelling, but they could claim they named it after a character in The Well at the World's End, which inspired Tolkien (and who he named Gandalf for).
Seeing as how the North Koreans literally deify their first family, this would kind of be like Jesus and Elvis both showing up on some redneck's doorstep in the Southern US. Sure, that woman is on the verge of tears, but girls stared weeping when they met The Beatles too.

If you'll excuse me, I'll be over there... ashamed about that joke.
