This sort of set-up isn't that uncommon of a sight in holland or other places that use bikes as regular transportation. Although I think most people would have at least some of those kids on their own bikes.

While I agree that this site is probably not the place for overtly political statements, I have a hard time seeing this as such a statement. While it was attached to someone political, I'm fairly certain that the grand majority of people, despite their political beliefs, understand the original statement was ridiculous at best.
While I also didn't particularly enjoy all pregnancy being likened to drowning, you have to keep in mind it's satire - that's the point. If you don't get that, you probably shouldn't read A Modest Proposal.

I agree, I'm pretty sure this has been posted before also. I still think someone should take this idea, make it affordable, and sell it in the US in Walmart or something and you could make big bucks though.
