The anime girl trope I hate the most, and can't stand, is the crybaby type. Absolutely no redeeming value, I can't stand them. From Nagisa from Iczer One to Shima in Stellvia of the Universe, they are all emotional cripples. I'd take a tsundere over a crybaby any day.
Tsunderes are fun to watch if done right (<3 Eri Sawachika). They are, in essence, a variation on the theme of The Taming of the Shrew. It should be about the taming, not the shrew. When Eri Sawachika was "tamed" by Harry McKenzie (the umbrella scene), my heart skipped a beat.
Kasumi Tendo! A wee bit too "motherly" for my taste. But yeah, a definite Nadeshiko type. I've always been partial to Ukyo from that series, I even ventured to try okonomiyaki because of her. Not bad.
Gosh I feel old. I remember my first Ranma 1/2 episode back in 1995. My friend let me watch his video of Ranma, it was one of the early eps and dubbed. I have no problem watching Ranma dubbed. To me, Ranma will always have Sarah Strange's voice and Akane's Myriam Sirois voice. When I started watching the Japanese subbed version a few years later, it took me awhile to accept Kappei Yamaguchi and Megumi Hayashibara playing Ranma's voices. But I love DoCo's songs.
The problem is you're dating the wrong kind of anime girl. Forget the bipolar "Tsundere" girls (even though they're the best, <3 Eri Sawachika). Don't settle for the charming genki girl either (their shtick gets old fast). And never ever go for the bubbly airhead. Nuff said.
If you want the least complicated anime girl to date, just get the "Yamato Nadeshiko" girl, or even the so-called doormat like, say Aoi Sakuraba from Ai Yori Aoshi. Sure they are boring as heck, but they make up for it with total un-complication. (Yeah I'm a chauvinist. That's what watching too much harem anime for more than 20 years will do to you.)
I watched the sequel first. It was available at the local betamax rental place near our house. I had to wait for our house to get cable (around 1993?) to get to watch this first movie.
I don't mind being eaten by an animal, just as long as I'm not alive to experience it. Watch a video on youtube of wildebeests or zebras being eaten alive by wild dogs or hyenas. Now imagine you're the one being eaten. Nope, not a good way to go.
I never bought an engagement ring, nor did I propose to my wife-to-be. I knocked her up and that is that.
Besides, we all know that diamonds are not very rare at all. DeBeers and other diamond companies are artificially inflating the price of those highly compressed carbon crystals. If I were to be tempted to buy a ring for my wife, I'd get a sapphire one instead, since its both our birthstones.
I'm disappointed too. I'm disappointed that Die Hard isn't even up for consideration. They just took the top twenty holiday movies from AMC (no Die Hard) and cross reference it with Google Trends for each state. No wonder the best Christmas movie EVER MADE(!) isn't on the map.

Sigh, nostalgia.... :)

It's a travesty!
