Those numbers look suspiciously low to me. Did you, perhaps, mean "billion"?
If nine million Oreos are consumed annually in the United States, that's equivalent to one out of every thirty-three Americans eating one cookie per year. I think Nabisco is doing better than that.
Nine billion Oreos, by contrast, would be equivalent to every American eating one Oreo each every four days. Now THAT, I can believe!
