Just a tidbit: the location of the plaque in the photo (Belle Fourche, South Dakota) is pronounced 'Bell Foosh'. Also, Pierre (the capital of SoDak) is pronounced 'Peer'. Gotta love Americanized French place names.

Thunderball not super-popular? It sure was when it came out! Many thought it out-did Goldfinger. Having a cameo of the Aston Martin DB-5, a massive underwater action scene, and a freaking jet pack? What's not to love? I much prefer Thunderball over You Only Live Twice (where Connery looks bored/tired of the role most of the time), and it's TONS better than Diamonds Are Forever, or its remake, Never Say Never Again.

That's too bad about the infographic rule. I happen to love putting infographics on my lil' site, because they're colorful, easy-to-understand, and best of all, easy for me to post. I understand your reasoning however.

The article talks about how awful pyramids would have been...I think pyramids are awesome, even kitchy ones like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. You don't see many modern pyramids...in fact, besides the MGM, the only one that comes to mind is the "front door" to the Louvre. A step-pyramid would have been pretty cool, possibly better than what became the Jefferson Memorial (which I consider rather safe and boring).
