As someone with thick and frizzy hair, I've found it useful to lower my criteria about what actually constitutes a good hair day. Plus hats, and ponytails. Hats and ponytails help too, although not at the same time.
Putting on my crazy cat lady hat for just a sec... my cat prefers to poop outside and he's even considerate enough to vomit on the lino not the carpet most of the time.
I just want one of those recliners that move in synch with the movie. I had a brief try of one last year and it was so awesome that it's now #1 on my "stuff to buy when I have enough money that I can buy expensive stuff just because it's cool" list.
My dad was from the Gippsland region and used to often tell us about the giant worms that made a woofing sound when they moved. Eventually it became a family joke to say "when worms go woof" instead of talking about flying pigs. We had to eat our words when he took us to the Giant Worm Museum
For what it's worth, it's been horribly hot in Australia (or at least in Brisbane) lately. Although I'd much rather the heatwave here than the winter that's happening in the Northern Hemisphere
My cat seems to be a little scared of the Christmas tree. He had a little bat at some of the lower hanging ornaments, but other than that he's given it a wide berth. It's not because he's had a bad experience previously, because he's only 20 months old and I didn't have a tree last year. Whatever the cause, I'm fairly happy that he's put his destructive tendencies on hold in this one case.
Just stretch out the cord at one end, then let it go and it will smack into the next one, which will hit the next one etc etc like a dysfunctional Newtons Cradle, and the dust will be all shaken off. Several books too probably, but that can be a prompt for you to read them.
Ha ha, I think it sounds delicious, but I couldn't understand why I'd never realized that Snickerdoodles were so awesome. After a little Googling, I gather than regular Snickerdoodles are a little less filled with deliciousness.
Yeah, postage costs are just nuts, and how bad it seems does depend a little on what's happening with the Australian dollar.
But seeing as there's 20% off international delivery now you've tempted me enough to order some in an effort to get my Wish List down a little (although postage was still only a little bit less than the cost of the shirts)
Although to be fair, I'm not sure how knowing which side of a tree the moss grows on in the Northern Hemisphere will help me down here in Australia.
Also, from my extensive TV & movie viewing, I'm not sure that surviving the apocalypse is all it's cracked up to be.
