This sounds more like strong arming companies to force them to sponsor the Olympics lest they & their fans are not acceptable.Will London ban all cars from Olympic venues if their corporate sponsors didn't cough up money?Actually the best thing that could come of this is to get people to stop wearing clothing that is free advertising for corporations or celebrities.
