Went to see their giant Spider in Liverpool, UK a few years back and also went this year to see the giant old lady, girl and dog. They are fantastic! The entire city seems to come to a standstill!
A bit worried at the idea of driverless cars on the "pavements" of the UK (as the video said). Pavements is the UK equivalent of sidewalks, I think perhaps the cars should stay on the road, so they don't mow down pedestrians!
I'm fairly certain I've visited this place. I think the globe is projected onto small OLED panels and can be updated in near real time to show global weather trends and other planets. I'm unclear as to why it needed to physically rotate at all, and why they couldn't just animate the images on the OLED panels to give the appearance of movement (in the correct direction!)
the narrator says one of the people involved was called "Cholmondeley". (He could of course be right in this case?)
I know this is only a bit of fun, but only a couple of paragraphs of text and only 3 questions makes for a pretty bad test! I took it three times (the fourth time I got the first text again so I assume there are only 3) and got scores ranging from 1000 to 1450 words per minute and 100% on the questions. I'm a fast reader (not a speed reader) but there is no way on Earth I'm that fast in reality! (Plus reading a novel at that speed would be just horrible!)
