Kind of reminds me of getting into teaching in 1962. My buddy and I felt that it was going to be THE profession of the 60's, on a par with lawyers and doctors. We were wrong but both of us taught in public schools for over 30 years.

I've always thought that cancer cells were not so rare and most of the time an aberrant cell was consumed by a T-cell or something like that. When it wasn't, it would spread and cause the harm. Hope these people are on the right track.

Yes, we do not hear ourselves as others hear us. Our recorded voice is probably not the same either. I was a DJ on FM radio and still do on the internet. Hearing my own voice is still odd. Speaking of, when I used to call my Mother, she would ask who it was. I'd say---"your son" and she would say which one. Guess my brother's voice is that similar.
