I'm just glad I am not the only one. Though I am not as extreme as most cases, I definitely have a germophobe streak and it's always creepy for me to take the Tube anywhere in summer because I am not wearing gloves to touch the handles in the train or the railings on the stairs. And that's not all...

You're right, Christopher, those are less convenient for the car, but more convenient if you are out shopping or something, and your hands are too full to lug the coffees and the shopping bags around. I meant to point that out in my earlier post, but I was just shaking my head at the previous responses that made it seem as though someone had invented an instrument to better remove the brains of kittens with.

I think that everyone is just a little too intense over a carry caddy. Perhaps too much caffeine? Fact is, those little trays go to landfills too, but if you need to get from point a to point b with more than one drink, whether you are driving or not, they are convenient, which is precisely the point of this. I don't care if one is a razor shunning vegan or a 400 pound moose, these are convenient when you have your hands full. Recycle or reuse if you are so worried about litterbugs and landfills.

While it's certainly not my thing, I really don't see the big deal. Don't like it, don't go there. I don't see the "moral crusade" against it when Hooters does pretty much the same thing. People can get so stuffy and self righteous.

I am against the frivolous lawsuit, but this is not someone suing the city for their kid stepping in dog poo. This is an airline stepping way over the line. What next?

Thing is, airlines need to be put in their place. 2 million may seem like a lot, but these are the same airlines that are getting away with mistreating and fleecing paying customers every single day. Not only did they break federal law, but making someone sit in an airplane toilet for three hours is just wrong. I hope that this guy gets his 2 mil and then some.

Having had to live in Miami for a few very long years, I can verify that this is where not only the rudest drivers live, but the rudest people overall. I hate that place. I only go back there now because I have family there, but if I didn't, I wouldn't set foot in that town again.
