Lots of things are non-native to Hawaii that are today very much a part of the local culture, like pineapples, geckos, mosquitoes, guavas, avocados, lychee, mangoes, papayas, ukuleles, Kona coffee, and Spam. Also, you misspelled macadamias in the link. Sorry!

Macadamia nuts are not native to Hawaii. Macadamias were first imported into Hawaii in 1882, according to Wikipedia. Just sayin'.
