This misguided cartoon illustrates painfully shy people--to the point of neurotic. Introverts aren't necessarily shy. We enjoy our own company, hordes of loud networkers are annoying and tiring, so are people who have gatherings of their "friends" meaning anyone they ever encountered. We're deep and thoughtful and don't have the need to spout our beliefs every time we decide to talk. We choose the times when we want to be heard or known.
