I live in Leiden. The pilgrim museum is quite interesting, and the St Pieterskerk has a yearly commemoration for the pilgrims. Nice to see Leiden featured!
A few of these seem less to do with Americanisms and more to do with people not necessarily understanding the difference between the two dialects, or in some cases even just a lack of understanding the language.

I don't believe this is from Hot Toys, but apparently the price is 160 dollars. Which is quite ridiculous even for 1/6 figures, as it doesn't seem his shirt is even tailored properly.
This story actually makes me happy, since the point was to actually honor the man. I think it's a great story, that shows some of us still show compassion towards others. Especially in a time when it feels like compassion is nearly non-existent.

I don't think interns need to be paid. However, I don't think interns should get nothing. They still contribute largely to the work force.
The Netherlands deals with this quite well in my opinion. They require an "internship reimbursement" for the time you worked there. It's not nearly the same as a salary, but it shows that the place is grateful.
