That's got nothing on that scene in Doctor Who where The Doctor, Amy and Vincent are looking up at the night sky and Vincent describes what he see's and as he describes it the sky that Amy and The Doctor can see gradually morphs into Vincent's vision.

That whole episode did so much to bring to the works of Van Gogh people who had never really thought about painted art. It beautifully written and produced, such a shame that Curtis managed to put his usual sickly sweet (and indeed boak inducing) trademark on the ending. I was just at the point of thinking, "hey, maybe Curtis isn't all bad" and then he went and spoiled it.

I have to take issue with the assertion that Tennant started breaking into TV in the 2000's. The first thing I recall seeing with Tennant in a prominent role was in the brilliant Takin Over The Asylum where he comfortably acted Ken Stott off the screen. This was in 1994.

There are actually several different reasons given for the length of Tom Baker's scarf. I've heard Tom himself tell two conflicting stories and several other members of the crew tell other different versions.
