Johnson and Johnson First Aid Cream. It was great for lots of things, without being greasy - cuts, scrapes, rashes, dry skin, but it was the absolute BEST for sunburns. Soothed the pain and itch, prevented peeling, and healed the burn very quickly. I don't understand why J&J stopped making it.
As Manticore correctly points out, American politicians are not typically scientists, especially at the national level. Check out the percentages in China's government, for example, and you see the opposite situation.
