A Honda would have done the same thing and at least you could sleep in it. FINE, I get that we sometimes don't want things and you want to make a point to divest yourself of stuff (EVERYONE should listen to George Carlin's 'Stuff' Monologue) but he could have got rid of everything, bought T bills for investment, get it out of your system and then still have a life with money when it was done. Now he's basically starting over as an 18 year old with no $ and no prospects.
Not gross at all. It's a testament to commitment, and at 23 having supporters/guardians around is not a bad idea. At 23 I was still at university, NOT from a foster home but from a bad alcoholic one and could have benefitted by a couple prepared to make a committment to me.
And frankly, all religions are simply a highly codified form of superstition - accepted and promoted by people who are too scared to deal with a reality-based world.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster has died, The Flying Spaghetti Monster has risen, The Flying Spaghetti Monster will come again! In all his Noodly goodness Amen
It's 'Risen' not 'Risin' - moron. Gee a connection between illiteracy and Christianity. Imagine.
This guy is a knob. High School 4x? Whatever... If he's so smart, that would have been a degree in whatever he desired.
I think you can have a high IQ and not be a douche. If you're reading this, Rick, I was part of a specialized school program. The class I was in (I later discovered when I read an academic article on us in a Educational Psychology Journal) had a range of IQs between 172 and 228. SOMEHOW I can manage to function in my life without alienating anyone or feeling I need to appear nude on television.
Besides, it can be argued that IQ isn't necessarily a measure of intelligence, but of socialization and simply being a collector of minutiae.

If you feel you need to quote religious text and it's THAT important, the least you can do, to do it justice is to do it right.
