My thoughts as well. "There's supposed to be a troll in here complaining about how the person in the article should be helping his fellow man. And when someone inevitably points out that the troll isn't helping ANYBODY, he will go back under his bridge for a while."
Anyway: Glad they saved the kitty. Here's hoping he gets a good home.
The popcorn is so expensive because almost all of the price of your ticket goes back to the studio that made the movie. Concession prices are jacked up because that's where theaters make nearly all of their money, and they (understandably) don't want people to know how much of the $5 you spend on a small popcorn is profit to them.
Ried, these photos are long exposures. He doesn't say how long they were, but I'd guess at least 5-10 seconds per shot. You can't shoot a "moving picture" that way.
Some friends of mine have an adopted, five-year-old daughter who, because of a birth defect, eats through a feeding tube. Should she be "put to sleep" too?
Fun game, though I did get a few repeats. Interesting that when you only have to type each letter once no matter how many times it appears in the title, "The King's Speech" can be typed as THE KINGS PC.
I went to the Big Texan Steak Ranch a few years ago. While we were eating, a smallish guy actually finished the challenge. It was pretty amazing. (Their steaks are totally great, by the way.)
Asking what time it is on Mars is like asking what time it is on Earth; other planets have rotations and would need time zones just like we do. Or is there a Greenwich Mean Time-style standard for other planets?
Anyway: Glad they saved the kitty. Here's hoping he gets a good home.
