When we read the synopsis it sounds terrible because it brings to mind stories like Willowbrook or the forced sterilizations of the 30's and 40's. So, I was on the mildly disapproving side of this argument until I read their site. It is nothing of the kind.

After reading their side of the story it really seems to me that the decision was a long thought out, practical and loving response to the problems and needs she will face in the future. They are trying to avoid putting her in an impersonal care facility for as long as they can, and thinking of her comfort and safety for long after they might no longer be able to care for her, in short, doing their job as proper parents.

And Silent002 is right, if someday there IS a miracle cure that !! grows new brain tissue !! , then she will just be undersized and unable to have children - not all THAT bad in the wide world of symptoms.

Kinda cool! because the only people who really should ever be embarrased about how they dance, is those who are to afraid to do it at all. At least he's improving - people who do not practice are not.

I do think air guitar is a bit gauche, but it blended into the overall work well enough.

I have had some experience in treating ear trauma and I can say that this is a remarkably bad idea. It almost seems irresponsible to spread the meme on this one as there is bound to be someone out there stupid enough to try it. If they were not injured then it's only because they were spraying gently or not pointing it directly into the ear.

Even if you were stranded on a desert island, there are very few impacted wax problems that hydrogen peroxide won't fix, and I have even used it (in a dilute solution) to drown and irrigate out a wasp from someone's ear canal. eeaagh!
