so... my initial thought was "lightsaber hilt", but now I think it's like a decorative cover for a candle, and the bottom part is the candle stand. Like those little bell things they used to use to put out candles, only it covers the whole thing so you don't have to look at the drips.

ya know how your parents used to scare you by saying that if you swallowed the watermelon seeds you'd grow watermelons in your stomach? that suddenly became my fear all over again.

ya know, i get really frustrated with these scientists who say that a solution is only a "drop in the bucket". if it even has the slightest chance of working, try it out, because it's better than twiddling your thumbs while the problem gets worse.

that's weird... i laughed at the part where the other cat tries to be like "dude! it's cool! just chill!" too bad it didn't work.

i was going to say that they were cornicelli, which are little Italian charms to ward off the evil eye, but then somebody pointed out the whistle on the end and I gave it a second thought...

They have the milk bags in Argentina, too, and I wouldn't be surprised if in much of the rest of So. America. And they have these nifty reusable plastic pitchers that hold the milk bag up and help you pour it :)

The doctor from Voyager was a hologram (EMH, Emergency Medical Hologram).... ohmigosh, I think I just admitted to being a geek.....

WOW, it's been FOREVER since I've seen these! my mom made them for me and my friends when I was like 8. they're totally fun! I think I'll go make some now for a walk down memory lane :)
