This actually happened to me about 25 years ago. I had three teachers- two were amazing, but the third picked on me. In the end I was forced to sit with the "bad" kids in the room and she made many nasty cracks about me. The cracks used to involve "torturing" us to get us to do more work. Often of the "20 lashes with a wet noodle" variety or "when I was a kid the teachers were allowed to hit us with rulers," but enough to scare me. When I was about 25 my mother, out of the blue, brings her up and tells me that she had the principal reprimand her over my treatment. To this day I have not forgiven her.

In German "Dick" actually means "fat" or "bulky". So the name wants to imply that you buy bulky chocolate-covered cream cakes.

If this claim is indeed shown to be false, Anybots and its owners (i.e., Trevor Blackwell and company) have possibly ruined their own credibility.

I believe this film is from 1993. I was out of college then, but our college theater got a copy of it and ran it all the time. We used to say that if there were more than 2 dozen talkies listed here you hadn't seen then you had to get to the store and rent them.

Because whales are intelligent mammals, I'd sooner eat human meat. I think anyone who eats a whale (or dolphin or cat or dog or great ape) needs to have a talk with their spiritual adviser. This is the kind of behavior that my Japanese friends refuse to talk about due to cultural embarrassment.
