The collection of horrifying tattoos shown here certainly isn't messing around. This is the kind of ink that would be a dating dealbreaker, for fear of it being your first sight upon waking. I suppose the people who sport these tattoos have significant others who are in favor of all things creepy. What do you think? Would you be willing to sleep next to these?

The delicious looking dishes shown here have an ingredient that makes the dining establishment that serves them unique: each entree includes marijuana as an ingredient. The restaurants, called Sinsemil.la, are part of a club of underground dining spots with chapters all across the country. The first club originated in New York City. According to their website:
"This underground supper club highlights exceptional and locally-sourced ingredients according to season. The meal is a carefully calibrated experience from start to finish. Marijuana varietals are tested not just for their organic qualities, but specifically to balance the flavors of each dish and for their psychoactive properties throughout the flow of the dinner.Sinsemil.la isn’t about getting high — it is about haute cuisine."

An eighteen-wheeler that got stuck on train tracks in Mer Rouge, Louisiana was annihilated by a freight train on October 5. The truck driver was able to get away in time to save his life. Two train engineers sustained injuries for which they were treated at a local hospital. Both will recover. A hasty evacuation of homes in the immediate area was ordered after it was learned that one of the train cars was leaking a chemical gas. Once the gas was determined to be argon, the evacuation was called off and the cleanup began. “Holy mother of moo-moo!”

Bored Panda invited submissions for pet costume idea photos and users are voting for their favorite. So far, the collection is ridiculously cute, as you can imagine. While I'm no fan of dressing pets in costume on a daily basis, à la Paris Hilton, I think once in a long while the animals seem to at least tolerate it. Some pets are ham enough to relish the extra attention they get while in costume, thus looking forward to their dress-up days. One of my dogs has a football jersey that says "Quarterbark" on the back, which he sometimes wears on Halloween. This simple and goofy getup has him practically strutting around the house when he wears it. Of course, the treatfest he expects after the costume comes off doesn't hurt his level of enthusiasm, either.

This footage shows five-year-old JP Gibson, who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, making his best basketball moves on the court with the Utah Jazz. The adorable Gibson, who was diagnosed in 2012, is announced as a substitution before he dribbles his way down the court and makes a basket, with an assist by one of the Jazz. That's enough to bring tears to my eyes as I smile simultaneously.
This rally car race held in Aosta Valley in Italy nearly came to a deadly end when a car driven by Pietro Scavone (with "co-driver" Diego D'Herin) went off the track and crashed within approximately a foot of a crowd of spectators. The bystanders can be seen frantically running away as the car flips over, practically on top of them. Amazingly, no one was seriously hurt. Buzzfeed collected 30 recipe guestimates for food favorites from popular restaurant chains. Sometimes these approximations taste close enough to the real thing to satisfy cravings. Even if one tries the copycat recipe and feels that it's a bit off, it's a great starting point from which to add or subtract ingredients and try again. Practice makes perfect... and something tells me even the practice runs of these dishes will be pretty tasty.

Copycat Outback Bloom Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used reduced fat)
- 2 TBS creamy horseradish
- 1 TBS ketchup
- 1/3 tsp paprika
- 1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and put in the fridge for at least 3 hours to let flavors meld.
Notes
- Store in fridge.

Eight different chemical reactions are captured here by filmmaker and editor Yan Liang, in a more artistic and appealing way than most videos of the sort are filmed. YouTube user Rodney Langham posted this footage that captured over five minutes of a fight between two kangaroos in the middle of an Australian street. Aside from the kicking, they look remarkably like human boxers as they jab and dance around. I can only imagine what one of their kicks to the abdomen could do to a human. Asian elephant Azizah gave birth to a male calf on September 16th at London's ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. The entire herd of ten elephants witnessed the birth, which took place outside, an unusual occurrence. Normally births take place inside the sheltered area of the enclosure. The zoo was excited about the birth taking place in a natural environment. Assistant Curator of Elephants Lee Sambrook said,
“It was wonderful to be able to witness a herd birth at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. We have a great track record with the elephant breeding program here, but seeing a baby born with all his aunties and uncles around in such a natural environment was an incredible privilege. Elephants are such social animals and you could see that the rest of the herd’s presence was just what Azizah needed to stay calm and do what she needed to do. The team of vets and keepers were standing by and monitoring her development, but it was so fantastic that the birth happened naturally, and with the herd’s help, rather than ours."
The Asian elephant is native to southeast Asia from India in the west to Borneo in the east. These majestic animals are tragically classified as endangered due to habitat loss and poaching for ivory, meat and leather. It's hard to comprehend that someone would value a profit or a material over such imagnificent, awe-inspiring animals. -Via Zooborns.
Korean artist Kimsooja splits her time between New York, Paris and Seoul, and has exhibited her work worldwide. This fantastic installation was done in the Palacio de Cristal in Madrid's Retiro Park. The greenhouse was transformed into a luminous, prismatic wonderland that the artist calls "To Breathe - A Mirror Woman."
To create the installation, translucent diffraction film was placed over the greenhouse glass, and mirrors were applied to the floor. There was a sound component to the installation as well: a recording of the artist breathing rhythmically. The total effect was a meditative sensory event bathed in rainbow colored rays of light.

Have you ever heard an actor or actress asked about how it felt to do a sex scene with some Hollywood heartthrob and they've griped about how difficult it was? How embarrassing and awkward? After hearing such complaints, have you ever thought "Yeah, right, what torture. Cry me a river."
This mildly NSFW (no nudity but profanity, sexual simulation and sexual language) video of actors Brooklyn Decker and Patrick Wilson shooting a sex scene made me think that maybe there's some truth to the typical sex scene complaints made by actors.
Watching them lying together awkwardly while the director and crew laugh and joke made me sort of embarrassed by proxy. If that's not bad enough, they have to endure being repeatedly spritzed with aerosol spray canned sweat. This is one situation in which the money actors make per film may be honestly earned. -Via Uproxx
