I read this yesterday in the BBC and it made me mad... This kid won't get anything but juvie. He's not a hero. He's lucky and his mom is stupid and should be held accountable for ridiculously poor parenting.
Be our luck, this lazy punk gets hired by the government or a giant company while the rest of us who work hard all the time get little for it.
Gualdar, don't use age (or youth in this case) as an excuse for forgetting something that important and lifesaving. There is a "mindset" but it has nothing to do with age. I do think you are right about getting their products approved faster.
On that note, I disagree with rewarding them at the cost of others if they cannot *do* for themselves. I'm with Sara B on this one, though I don't think rewarding people is the answer either.
Crazy idea...maybe we should just do what we're supposed to?
In elementary school, I went to a small private school with delicious homemade lunches. In junior high and high school, I went to public school and the lunch system went through at least 4 major changes in the system. These lunches look...unhealthy...
This made me overjoyed! My mom is deaf (and blind) due to meningitis she got a little over two years ago. It took her A LOT of getting used to and she still has to work with it, but it has done so much...It has taken a lot of work on Mom's part, hard work. I cannot even describe my amazement at this TINY AMAZING feat of science and all it has done to help. This baby will be able to adapt quickly, children are incredibly resilient!

PUT SOME SHOES ON PUNK.

What is wrong with packing a lunch???
