My son was about two years old when he started to get an attitude (oh, when will he grow out of it?), and he started to come back with responses when we would correct him, such as:
Me: "Will you be good?"
Son: "I AM being good!"
or
Me: "Will you be nice?"
Son: "I AM being nice!"

His best was:
Me: "Will you behave?"
Son: "I AM being have!"
