David, I strongly suggest that you UP the age to 10 years old as done by the 4-H and by the Boy Scouts of America. ca. Studies have shown that 10 year olds have the capacity to differentiate between right and wrong that helps with their decision making processes.
A Massuchessets range allowed 8 year olds and in the fathers view, the UZI came back and killed the child....not good...use extreme caution. 8 years old is too early. From an NRA Training Counselor friend Joe
