This reminds me of the WOBO (world bottle) that was developed by Albert Heineken of the Heineken beer family in the 1950s. He designed a brick shaped bottle that could be used as building material once the content had been consumed. The manufacturing of the bottles was limited and only a small shed, and a double garage were built with the material. Both structures are located on the Heineken estate at Noordwijk, near Amsterdam. I could find no pictures of the shed or the garage, but did find a picture of the bottle here: http://www.vestaldesign.com/blog/2006/07/heineken-beer-bricks.html
