I do not feel guilty liking "Weird Al" Yankovic or the Arrogant Worms (or other comedy music artists), but I do have one artist that is kind of a guilty pleasure: John Denver.
Most people I know do not like John Denver, but his music (particularly "Country Roads") brings back fond memories from childhood.

Apparently, whomever did that video has not flown much--or paid attention when seated near a lavatory.
The flight attendants usually lock the lavatories before take off and landing then unlock them once in air or at the gate. And they usually use a ball point pen to move the hidden lock/unlock mechanism.
I guess that hidden mechanism allows the crew to go in to attend to an ill passenger.

While I may not want to do this (either pack for someone or pay someone to pack for me--well, my kid), I see no problem with it.
The parents can afford it and someone makes money--where is the down side?
Heck, it looks like Ms. Reich will make at least $10,000.00 this camping season; not bad for part-time work.

While you are studying the Periodic Table, I only thought of Tom Lehrer's "The Elements" - link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYW50F42ss8
The song does kind of go with the humorous drawings, though.

Why would Rome fall? Isn't the Pope the head of a country--the Vatican City? Granted, it is the smallest country in the world and surrounded by Rome, but why would Rome be destroyed? Wouldn't just the Vatican City be destroyed?
I know the Pope is the head of the Roman Catholic Church, but since I am not a Roman Catholic, that is a minor thing for me.

13. Spike Jones and his City Slickers did a song about him, "Wyatt Earp Makes Me Burp"

I use "FBI Van 123"--I am sure it drives my paranoid neighbors crazy.

Without getting the whole story on the clamping, my assumption is that cars get clamped there for the same reason as, say, in Chicago: the car owner has too many unpaid parking tickets or other monies owed the city. If that is the case, the car owner has to pay up to get their car back (that is, have the clamp removed).
This means that Wheel Clamp Man is aiding and abetting scofflaws; isn't that illegal? Also, he is destroying property as he is destroying the clamp--another illegal activity.

I do not really "fault" them as much as just pointing out that Abraham, David, and the others were sinners (God said "don't do it" but they did anyway). They may have been great but that does not mean they were without fault.
And just because many people through the ages have done something does not make it right.

Actually, no there is not. In the Bible, God defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Yes, there are examples of polygamy in the Bible--but there are many reprehensible actions done by many people mentioned in the Bible. And just because it is mentioned does not necessarily mean it is condoned, such as the polygamy and murders.

Reminds me of a Bombay cat I met whose purr sounded like a sandhill crane. Apparently, that purr was genetic in that cat's lineage. It was pretty cool to hear.

While I did not get a car as soon as I got my driver's license, I did buy a new car about a month after I graduated college and got my first job. My logic was to buy it and drive it until the wheels fell off; I came close. I drove it off the lot when it had about 63 miles on it. 10 years later and 153,000+ miles later, I stopped driving it because it was not financially worth my time to repair it; a year later, someone bought it off of me and spent 3 days getting it road worthy.
My current car is 12 years old with about 160,000 miles on it. I bought it new. And I plan to get this one replaced soon; I am not sure if the replacement will be new or used.
I find a car very important. In fact, both my wife and I have a car. If we lived in a city with other ways of getting to work and stores, we probably would not have cars.

At my alma mater, Miami University (Ohio), there was a professor who did a very similar thing. His exams were very difficult and he would allow the students to write their own final exam. The students had to come up with the questions and answers and were graded on difficulty and originality. I did not take any of his classes, but I think if the student's final exam was rejected, they had to take the professor's.
