Wrong idea of Christianity given in the Christian account of the end of the world. Yes, the Second Coming of Christ does happen. But next is not the Rapture! Christ's Second Coming means that he has come to fulfill the kingdom of God on Earth! There is a new heaven and new earth -- it is all renewed. This is the end of history. There's no point of the Rapture then. It's not that the point of Christianity the one goes to heaven. It is to fulfill the Kingdom of God, which will happen with the Second Coming. And btw, ryan does not speak for all Christians. The majority do not believe in the Rapture. (And yes, i consider myself an orthodox Christian. I believe in the physical resurrection of Christ, virgin birth, Jesus as both God and man, etc.)
