I agree with everything but assortment. More often than not, the only place for me to get certain books was at Borders – to the point that they sometimes had titles that Amazon and other online entities did not.
He missed the Dark Crystal, it should be in the high desert mountains between Labyrinth and Kadath.
Are all Fantasias combined? Or should there be sub-regions?
Discworld is a world all in itself, so pass. Since Hyrule is brought up, I guess you could then say all the Final Fantasy and Chrono this and thats are worlds in other star systems. So too all of the D&D worlds that got written about.
And of course middle earth has actual maps that would contradict this.
They're bubble eyed, he's using a technique to fool them into thinking there is a wall. By holding your hands over a bubble eyed goldfish, since they tend to see upward as if to either side, you can quite easily guide them around a shallow tank.
You'd hold the marble sphere at a set height depending on the weight of the can, slide a can part way under it and drop it. The slotted screw in the front of the base may raise and lower a metal bar to simulate being dropped on an edge. The sphere's weight would be calibrated that when dropped from a certain height, it would mimic the force of the can itself being dropped onto the ground/edge. In this way, can designers could determine the optimal can for a variety of uses in a more or less controlled environment.
Would this not mean the benches are now obstructing a fair portion of the sidewalk? Also, if the bench's one end is butted against the building/hedge/whatever, then wouldn't it result in a bottleneck near the curb where the vagrant could sit and have MORE contact?
I like to think that clothing arose when some dude tried to jump over a thorny bush and his jubblies got snagged. It makes me chuckle far more than it should.
I think it is a log/plank puller/tensioner/setter. You would place a log or plank in the jaws, the spike of the handle in a trough, and then would be able to precisely move the log/plank back and forth fairly precisely for construction. It would be used in tandem with many of them down the log/plank's length operated by multiple people.
In the unlikely event I am right: "Chemists Do It Periodically On A Table" in the XL size.
