@ Mr. Awesome: What in gods name are you talking about? This girl is "trying too hard"??? http://www.moviespad.com/photos/pauley-perrette-poster-3de15.jpg
"the super-entity is unlikely to be the intentional result of a conspiracy to rule the world. "Such structures are common in nature," says Sugihara."
So it's not a intentional conspiracy. But that is not the problem. The problem is that the world is ruled by a bunch of big corporations, most of them banks.
Democratic governments can do what they want, when push comes to shove they have to dance to the tune of these big corporations that have become "too big to fail" and can hold whole countries ransom.
Don' see what the upvoting/downvoting thing is going to do. Unless you hide comments with negative votes. And then you get voting wars. It also means censorship. Also I have NEVER seen a forum or comment section without "negative" comments. And what are "negative" comments anyway? Not conforming to the norm? 1984. If the government isn't doing it enough, at least we can! And yes, I realize you will consider this a "negative" comment as well.
"The protective effect of cycle helmets has been studied mainly through case-control studies and time-trend analysis.
Case-control studies usually show a large protective effect on head injuries while time-trend analysis usually show no protective effect at all. No randomized controlled trials have been done on the subject."
Interesting dilemma. So should I wear a helmet or not?
And the United States of America was founded by Europeans. True but beside the point. A hamburger is just ground meat according to the dictionary, nothing wrong with that. A McDonalds "meal": not quite the same thing.
There is at least one McDonald's in every city in my country. Most soft drinks are produced by Coca-Cola (they offer more than 500 brands in over 200 countries according to Wikipedia) or some other American company. The same goes for potato chips or all sorts of other candy. Examples: PepsiCo,Frito-Lay, Pringles, Mars etc.
>> "Soft drinks with more sugar than water" Not possible, regular soda is 90% water, diet is 99%
I admit I was exaggerating. If it really had more sugar than water it would not even be liquid. You got me on that one. One can of soda has the equivalent of 10 sugar cubes. (Link.) Happy?
Also it seems like it is OK to criticize any country but not the USA. Sorry for not knowing the rules.

Lol. (after seeing the video)
Yeah, or how about: will the native with bow and arrow win or will the modern soldier with an AK-47?
But apparently still dangerous enough for the USA to ban all trade.
From the link by Andrew Dalke:
