This specimen appears to be a variety of cockroach ('maengda' in Thai). It is immature, as his posterial armor has not yet fully grown to shield the rear of his body from being bitten or stung.

IMO, the only good cockroach in Thailand is a dead one.

I dissent, this doesn't look like a cockroach (of the Orthopteroid orders) but more like a true bug of the order Hemiptera.
One does not typically see the head of a cockroach from the dorsal view, as it is usually obscured by the pronotum. And cockroachs don't have hemelytra (the X on the back).

Sorry I can't get you any closer than "long-horned bug". suborder Gymnocerata.
