There are two other freak accidents that I recall that are not on this list:
1) Some friends were following other friends to a party, when a tow truck from an overpass careened over the rail, flipped, and landed directly on the leading car, much to the horror of the following car's passengers.
2) Two buddies were doing some heavy drinking one night, and both were pretty much inebriated. They then drove home, with the passenger leaning his head out of the window. The driver was so drunk that he sideswiped the guide wire of a phone pole. When the driver got home he decided to let his friend just "sleep it off" in the car. When he went to his car the next day, he found the headless body of his friend in the car.
Both of these are true stories.
BTW .... Steve Irwin was beloved by many (but of course there are always a few morons out there who love to create controversy and bash anyone they can because they themselves are miserable people). He was a great person and a humanitarian. May he rest in peace.
