Americans are always in trouble for our gas-hog SUVs, but we're not given options like this. Blame the greed of the auto manufacturers, not the ordinary little person.
If they're making remarks about a guy picking his nose, they're not in a high-stress, someone's-dying, urgent rush. Obviously, they have to keep moving - it would be extremely dangerous to just sit still and wait for traffic to move along. I have to wonder, though, if every street is as crowded as this one -
