The woman giving the intro phrases it like you're about to hear something that is probably insanely horrible, but let's be nice and give it a chance. I can't imagine being that naive, but it's interesting to see.

But 'Kung Fu Panda' was the best Animated Film of last year?!?! Things I'm reading point to it as a 'Best Animated Movie From a Studio Who Generally Produces Astounding Monkey Feces' Award.

I'm also a freelancer, and so far I am doing ok...mainly by being really proactive and watching for online opportunities.

The only good thing I can say is that I can ignore all those doom and gloom stories about 'what would you do if you lost your job?'...well, I didn't lose it, I know where it is, I just don't go there anymore. yuk yuk.

I am SO incredibly grateful to be busy I can't really put it into words...when you're a freelancer and have no business, you've got not much to do but sit and worry.

Not to be awesomely negative but ABC News is reporting that this lady is a single parent that lives with her parents. Good thing she had a litter of new kids!

I honestly don't get why these man-made occurrences are such a 'blessed event'. Children need a certain percentage of their parent's time and effort to develop properly, and with each new litter, that available time becomes smaller and smaller.

It was just great in pretty much every way.

Wow, I didn't mean to start a war by any means...I don't deny any of the overarching research. In fact, in my original post I mentioned I was woefully uninformed on the topic. But from a 'man in the street' perspective...we've seen a steady decline in temps and increase in snowfall over the last ten years for sure.

My dad still has an Olan Mills picture of my brothers and I from about 1978 hanging up where we all have our arms on a fake piece of 'farm fence' and a paper background behind us of an old mill. It's brutal, and a good laugh for every girlfriend I've taken out there.
