Oh, for goodness' sake.

I usually try to ignore trolls, but really? A small and optimistic thing happens in the middle of such horror and devastation, and the best some can do is sneer at it.

So, 60 can facepalm himself, firmly, between the eyebrows. The rest of us can be glad for many in Japan, including Maru and his family, who have escaped the devastation.

I'll give you that to an extent-but when you see poor families always in new and fashionable clothes, using really nice cellphones and sucking down soda like it's their life's blood? Then you realize that for some there may be no choice-but for many, it's a result of extremely skewed priorities.

Face it, there are things that all of us wanted as little kids that Mom and Dad were better off refusing. (or should have, as the case may be)

I wouldn't give a kid a haircut like this, but agreeing with GailPink-I'm sure he's thrilled. The worst that'll probably come of this is some embarrassing family photos for the parents to drag out for friends and future dates.

Though I don't normally think burning bridges is a good idea, sometimes you just reach that point. If I had some real dirt on my boss instead of just his woeful incompetence, I'd be tempted to do something creative with it.

Many years ago some friends of ours had a Tardis console cake, which almost disintegrated due to heat and humidity.

(I wore Romana's Destiny of the Daleks costume for the rehearsal, does that count?)

Troy, you dressed as the Eighth Doctor? Much love for that outfit! Absolutely gorgeous.

oh, which to do?

1) snark about 'hot air' being the reverse of commitment in faith?
2) grumble about the distinct lack of 'neat' in the post?
3)...Ah heck, I'm going to get chocolate ice cream instead. Who's with me?

Count me in as a jerk, not 'kind of' but full-fledged: not impressed with him, his mother or his fandom.
Intelligent and sociopathic doesn't impress me, and neither does the mindset that sees someone pulling crap like this and squees about him as though he were a Jonas brother.
