that being said, the only one most people know about is Mama Omidă which is a legend just because of that: being the mother of all romanian witches, and to some, being the official witch of the Ceauşescu family. there's a wikipedia entry. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mama_Omida
anyway, all this whitchcraft & co. is very popular amongst our own rednecks. and it's oh so funny.
