Hmmmm. An interesting list, but our friends at Paste apparently have no experience with Japanese horror. I'm thinking Audition and Ring (1998) definitely; and possibly the Grudge. And John Carpenter's The Thing wouldn't make my top 50, let alone top 5. Seriously? Where's the original?
This is a great story. My grandmother was a patient at Buffalo State and I still have strong memories from the early 60s of regular Sunday visits. It was like a castle and some of the pictures in the article are exactly what I remember - huge and ornate. The grounds were the same and well maintained. We'd go for walks; it was like a big park. Serene and quiet.
I love tuna casserole. With tuna. And baked in a 1970s blue and white Corningware dish. And not only does it include a can of Cream of Mushroom soup, but also a can of Cream of Celery. And carrots. And Peas. And Cheese. And enough milk or light cream to ensure the whole thing comes out nice and creamy.
Thought it was just me with the peeling thing. Everyone has a method. Mine is to immediately ice them down and then start at the large end where there's usually a gap between the shell and the egg. Works about 95% of the time.
Not any more.
This is heresy, but I'm mildly encouraged by their tweeter feed:https://twitter.com/TheGlenlivet/status/1181230956944007168
