Are Hotter Cooking Crock Pots Good or Bad? The answer was overwhelmingly no.
Since the answer can't really be yes or no, let's try that again: They Suck. Millions of people may get food poisoning every year, and thousands more die; but not from crock pots I think. I'd like to see the specifics on that.
Lawyers.
There's your reason - which Hamilton Beach and Rival apparently didn't want to talk about. That's OK, my old 80s Rival is still going strong. Wouldn't crock without it. .
An immersion blender for scrambled eggs? Seriously? No. Here's the deal: Eggs are protein and protein breaks down (quickly) under high heat. If you like your eggs hard - chewy, bland, and tasteless - like at most buffets - crank the heat and have at it - you're all set. If you like your eggs a bit smoother and creamier - add butter to whatever pan you have on hand and cook them slowly under low heat. The slower you cook them, the creamier they'll be (did I mention butter?).
Pro Tip: When they're almost where you want them to be, turn of the heat and let the heat from the pan finish the job.
Maybe. Responding to voltage fluctuations within two seconds is OK I guess, but two seconds is a lifetime in the electrical world. For a power outage, response needs to be in a couple hundred milliseconds or you risk a cascading shutdown. Long as everyone keeps that in mind...
I'd try them. The jam and honey looks interesting. The contextual clue here is
"Northern Russia, the Caucasus and much of Siberia are famous for their lush pine forests. Locals have learned to utilize everything that the harsh nature there has to offer."
