Vomiting Vultures Sounds like a punk music band. You would think someone would have seen them. I salute the people who actually ate that stuff though. Different times.
Dubious you say? Perhaps Babylon Health should be followed more. Soup: 73,511 injuries - body part most injured: finger. Milk: 57,823 injuries - body part most injured: head. These guys may be on to something.
And one reason to not like them so much. But I did learn something here today. I've always wondered about Cousin Billy's squirrel in It's a Wonderful Life. What was up with that? The most popular pet in America. Who woulda thunk it. . .
I too have a lot of books on many bookshelves. A long time back I came across one I had forgotten about and not read. This led to the creation of a bookshelf entirely for unread books. Which led not to FOMO (or guilt), but to stress from not reading all the books accumulating on that shelf. For me, learning is just a byproduct from the pleasure/enjoyment I get from reading a good book. I'm long over the stress part, but still buying, albeit more selectively. And I try to stay away from our annual "Friends of the Library" sale. I'm out of space. I also don't like the term antilibrary. Too much of a negative connotation in my mind.
