I've been hearing about Finland's approach to teaching a lot recently and it honestly sounds perfect. Am I not correct in thinking that most children stay in the same school from kindergarten up until 18 as well? And I am sure they have the shortest school days too. Seems ideal.

Agree with BB. I have a springer spaniel who was bought from a breeder and the parents were in a lovely home with quite a few acres to run around in. This is in the UK so I don't think we have the same problems with 'puppy mills' as the US but it's still completely inaccurate to tar all breeders with the same brush.

And us British Europeans are the most complicated of all! ;)
