i'm a christian, but after reading all the comments, i thought of a popular quote from the koran and talmud... it might actually be in the bible, but i don't personally don't remember seeing it. "save one life, save all the world...". anyway, the people arguing that Kimberly is a waste of public funds are ridiculous. you're writing on a freaking blog about this little tiny human being, who has struggled more in 6 months than any of you have in your entire existence. i understand the arguement that funds could have gone to improve or even save multiple lives as opposde to just one, but have some respect for the obstacles this young girl has overcome. many of you are addressing life like a commodity. judge and you'll be judged if you like. just don't complain when your overweight, cynical hearts stop and someone decides your potential future contributions to society aren't worth extending the precious few years you have left. regardless, i hope you all have the opportunity to live life to the fullest extent.
