Whats even more amazing is that there was a concession somewhere that operated under the same principle/concept for 80 years. Try to imagine a fair or amusement park/arcade in the US that has had the exact same booth type in service for that long. Coney Island is the closest I can come up with but I don think there are any concessions that have operated that long there.
This is like me going after Ben&Jerrys over their Chunky Monkey flavored ice cream. There I was expecting some good ole monkey goodness(or even imitation monkey goodness) and pfft nothing. This wasnt so bad for me but my Viet and Cambodian friends we sorely disappointed after lookng for some flavors from the homeland and just getting plain olde 20 percent butter fat ice cream with no monkey meat(real or imitation) to offset the carbohydrates.
I did settle out of court for 2 free quarts of Chubby Hubby though. With the 20 percent butter fat it really is kinda hard to tell the difference.
I think it would be cool if we could get it after passing through other animals. Like tigers, rhinoceri, cheetahs, raccoons and gold fish. The price would be based on the processing capacity of the animal and the danger of retrieving the processed bean. Gold fish would be kind of high based the on the ability to process like a bean a week. Elephants would be a little bit lower in price at the off set but retrieving 200 pounds of processed beans from a pachyderm jacked up on the caffeine from 200 pounds of beans would raise the price back up.
