I took some 10 year olds bowling once. One of the kids went to throw his ball and it flew out of his hand and over into the next lane. My embarrassment disappeared when HE PICKED UP THE SPARE in the OTHER lane! Wow.

I knew someone who was there at the takeoff. He worked a small film studio, and they had a camera set up to record the takeoff. When they cut him loose, he didn't just drift up in the air, he shot straight up like a rocket.

I've stood next to the one at Harriman Dam in Vermont. It was very scarry. I can imagine how a spider feels getting washed down the tub drain.

10 -15 years ago? Damn, I'm old. What about the tower at Pearl Harbor, is that still there? I did 70' holding my breath in that one.

The U.S. Navy trains submarine sailors to escape from submarines in towers of water, that I believe, are about 118 feet deep.
