I'm constantly amazed how they can charge high $ for bad cameras and make people want it. It's (almost) a shame that Yugo and American Motors couldn't make same the strategy work for them.

Not mentioned: the Lost in Space robot was another where the performer and voice were separate (like Darth Vader). Bob May was the body; Dick Tufeld was the voice. I don't know why, but Bob May is typically credited as The Robot, but you really have to dig to find out that the voice was a different person altogether.
