Christmas is a major Christian religious holiday. The entire country is subjected to Christmas for a solid 2-3 months every year. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to draw the line somewhere to keep the separation between church and state. We don't live in a theocracy--yet. I'm delighted that people are free to practice their religion freely, but there are reasonable limits that protect the integrity of our democracy and religious freedom. Religion has no place in public schools or government institutions--this protects us all regardless of our beliefs.
